We’re excited to announce the release of Capacitor V5.0.0, which introduces a brand-new payroll system under [HR System] alongside significant enhancements to our platform. Here’s a detailed overview of what’s new:

[New Payroll System] Introduction:
  1. Payroll Checklist:
    • As part of the new payroll system, we’ve introduced a payroll checklist pop-up to ensure all data is verified before running payroll. This feature is designed to enhance accuracy and reduce errors in payroll processing.

  2. Payroll Setup:
    • A new setup page has been added, allowing users to include expenses and unpaid leave, select payroll periods and schedules, and choose specific employees for the payroll run. This setup offers greater flexibility and control over payroll processes.

  3. Payroll Review:
    • The payroll review page is a new addition, providing users with a detailed view of payroll data, including payment schedules, cut-off periods, employee details, and total payroll amounts. This ensures all payroll details are accurate before final processing.

  4. Select Employees:
    • A new feature allows users to manually select employees to be included in the payroll run, offering more control over the payroll process.
  5. Filter Employees:
    • The ability to filter employees based on project, type, position, and payroll status is now available, allowing for more refined payroll processing.

  6. Payroll Summary:
    • A summary page has been introduced to give a complete overview of each payroll run, including all relevant details for easy review and auditing.

  7. Edit Payroll:
    • The new payroll system includes a pop-up feature that allows users to edit payroll details, including the addition or deletion of income and deductions, providing easier management of payroll changes.

  8. Automatic Payroll Updates:
    • The payroll list will automatically update to include approved expenses in the “Other income” column and recalculate the “Total Payroll” amount accordingly, ensuring accurate payroll data.

  9. Export Payslip:
    • A new feature allows users to export payslips to PDF or Excel, making it easier to distribute and manage payroll documents.


[Reimbursement Feature] Update:

  1. Integration with Payroll:
    • Approved reimbursements are now included in the payroll processing for the payroll, streamlining the reimbursement process.
  2. Processing Status:
    • A new “Processing” status has been introduced for expenses included in payroll, preventing further edits on such expenses, thereby ensuring data integrity.
